On the way to Monaco, your first stop is the medieval village of Èze, one of the most picturesque gems on the French Riviera. Perched atop a rocky hill, Èze’s cobbled streets lead up to an exotic garden with castle ruins, offering a stunning panorama at 427 meters above sea level. While here, visit the famous Fragonard perfume factory to discover the secrets of perfume-making.
Continue through La Turbie, known as the “Terrace of Monaco” for its panoramic views of the Principality. Marvel at the towering Trophy of the Alps, a 50-meter ancient monument dedicated to Emperor Augustus in 7 BC.
Arriving in Monaco, immerse yourself in the old town, “Le Rocher,” overlooking the sea and harbor. Admire the Prince’s Palace and witness the Changing of the Guard at 11:55. Stroll to the neo-Romanesque Cathedral, the final resting place of the Princes of Monaco and Princess Grace, or visit the Oceanographic Museum, founded over a century ago by Prince Albert I.
Conclude your tour in Monte Carlo, where you’ll travel along the legendary Formula 1 Grand Prix track. Visit the iconic Casino de Monte-Carlo, a masterpiece designed by Charles Garnier in 1878, and explore its exquisite gardens. Marvel at the charm of the Hôtel de Paris, a symbol of 19th-century elegance since its inauguration in 1864.
