From a very young age, Jean-Marc Ayache, the founder of Liven Up, was fascinated by the Mediterranean, boats and sports cars. In 1985, it was a no-brainer decision for him to share his love of the French Riviera and buy his first minivan for sightseeing. He went on to build up a fleet of vans/tour guides, followed by day charter motor boat rentals.
Jean-Marc had one aim, democratise luxury and make it accessible to all!
So Ferrari and Lamborghini driving experiences subsequently followed in 2004.

At LIVEN UP, we are deeply committed to preserving the natural beauty of the French Riviera and minimizing our environmental impact. Since 2011, we have taken concrete steps to support sustainability and contribute to global conservation efforts.
From 2011 to 2018, we offset our CO2 emissions by purchasing carbon credits through the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation. Additionally, for every “Countryside” excursion sold, we donated €1 to Planète Urgence Association, supporting reforestation and biodiversity preservation initiatives.
In 2022, we further strengthened our commitment by supporting the “2857 GettingForests out of the box” project by Canopy Planet Society, via the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation, actively fighting deforestation worldwide.
Beyond financial contributions, we actively participate in local environmental initiatives. Most recently, we joined a citizen clean-up day in the Garoupe woods in Antibes, helping to preserve this beautiful natural area.
Furthermore, we have taken steps to reduce our ecological footprint in our daily operations. All our brochures are printed on PEFC paper, sourced from sustainably managed forests.
